Our products are naturally sourced alkaline mineral spring water, bottled at source in the Western Cape, with no additives.

2. Use of the Website

• You must be 18 years or older (or have guardian consent) to use the Website or place orders.
• You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit viruses, or to interfere with its operation.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.

3. Product Information and Descriptions

• All products are natural spring water with naturally occurring minerals (pH approximately 8.69, TDS 362 mg/L, sodium ~86.7 mg/L, calcium ~27.2 mg/L — refer to lab test results on the Website for full details).
• Descriptions, images, and nutritional information are provided in good faith and for general guidance only. Actual appearance/taste may vary slightly due to natural sourcing.
• We do not make unsubstantiated health claims; any references to “superior hydration” or “mineral-rich” are based on natural composition and not medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional for specific needs.

Products comply with South African National Standard SANS 241 (drinking water quality) and relevant food safety regulations.

4. Orders and Contracts (CPA & ECT Act)

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract forms only when we accept your order (via confirmation email or dispatch).
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (e.g., due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). If cancelled after payment, we will refund in full.
• Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR), but exclude delivery fees unless stated.
• We may update prices without notice; the price at order confirmation applies.

5. Payment

• Accepted methods:credit/debit card, EFT, PayFast.
• Full payment required before dispatch (unless credit terms agreed for bulk/business orders).
• All transactions are secure and processed in compliance with applicable laws.

6. Delivery and Shipping

• Delivery available to  Western Cape; nationwide on request for bulk orders.
• Estimated delivery times: 3–7 business days within Western Cape; longer for other provinces.
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery (or collection if chosen).
• We are not liable for delays due to force majeure, courier issues, or incorrect address provided.
• Delivery fees displayed at checkout.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cooling-Off (CPA Section 16 & 20; ECT Act Section 44)

• Cooling-off right (distance selling/direct marketing): You may cancel within 2 business days after receiving goods (or 7 days for services), provided goods are unused, in original packaging, and resalable. Return shipping at your cost unless faulty.
• Defective/damaged/non-conforming goods (CPA right to safe/good quality): Report within reasonable time (ideally 14 days). We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion (proof of purchase required).
• Change-of-mind returns: Not accepted unless under cooling-off or faulty.
• No Refunds credit will be issued to customers account with Riverland Springs.

8. Liability and Warranties

• Goods carry implied warranties under CPA (quality, safety, fit for purpose).
• To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect/consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the order value.
• We are not liable for misuse of products or failure to follow storage instructions (keep cool, away from direct sunlight).

9. Intellectual Property

• All content (logos, text, images) is our property or licensed to us. No unauthorized use.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms governed by laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• Disputes resolved through negotiation, failing which, via the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) or competent courts in Cape Town.

13. Force Majeure

• Not liable for delays/non-performance due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions).
